Objective of Travel Agents Association of Sikkim
|

The association was formed with the aim to Promote Tourism; encourage domestic &
international promoters and tourists.
•To act as liaison with government for promotion and support in policymaking,
help in creation of infrastructure, maintain standard of trade.
•To protect the fragile eco-system of the region.
•Help protect and conserve the culture, tradition and environment of the region.
•Help visitors in times of troubles or during an unforeseen happening.
•Support tour operators, travel trade writers from other parts.
•To support and co-operate amongst the members
•To have a cordial relationship with government agencies and conduct various
training programs for tour operators and their staffs.
